Spacious cottage accommodations with a unique community experience.

Unfortunately, the shared kitchen was less than ideal as it was infested with roaches, making it uncomfortable to prepare meals. Additionally, the noise from the coqui frogs at night was disruptive to our sleep, which detracted from the otherwise serene ambiance. While the location offered beautiful surroundings, the cleanliness issues significantly impacted our stay.

noisy air conditioning

dirty kitchen

i thought the location was nice but that was the only perk. the air conditioning was very noisey, making sleep nearly impossible, and there were roaches everywhere, including the fridge! i woudl ve been happy with just a small gesture to make up for these nuisances, but apparently that was too much to ask. i just couldn’t give it a good review!

Loved the private feel—my two little yorkies and I enjoyed the spacious bungalow. The location is safe and close to the harbor. The bathroom was fabulous! Perfect for our little domestic circus!

Air was a bit stale upon arrival—like a forgotten sock!

It was just a fine choice for a brief visit in Hilo with the best value for money ratio. The air conditioning was a bit loud, but the spacious room made up for it. Try to park in the yard to avoid coconut damage to the car.
